1. Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice

Libraté is a metadata indexing and library bookmarking service. We do not host, store, or re-publish full copyrighted novel manuscripts on our servers.

If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe that metadata or links indexed on Libraté infringe upon your rights, you may file a formal DMCA takedown notice using the form below or via our compliance desk.

All takedown notices and counter-notices should be sent to our designated agent:

By submitting, you agree your notice (including your name and email) will be retained for compliance records.

4. Counter-Notification

If material linked on Libraté was removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your legal name and contact information.
  • Identification of the material removed and where it previously appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your area (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where Libraté may be found), and your agreement to accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

Once we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original filer. The material is generally restored within 10 to 14 business days unless the filer starts a court action.

5. Repeat Infringers

Catalog entries that receive repeated infringement claims are removed permanently. Accounts that repeatedly file unfounded or abusive notices may be restricted at our discretion.
